• USE ALL THE LINKS - It has taken us some time to put together all of the links for sat nav insurance, whether it be TomTom, Garmin, Navman, Navigon or any other make. Make sure you are getting the best deal possible by using all of the links that apply to the cover you require
• DO I NEED COVER? - If you have home contents cover, then you may already have cover for your satelite navigation system - but is it worth risking your household no claims bonus because you've damaged or lost it? The vast majority of motor insurance policies will have a limit on 'personal effects' cover (often £100) - and most will exclude portable navigation equipment. And anyway, is it really worth the rise in next years premium if you make a claim should it be stolen from your car? You can insure high-risk items - such as your satellite navigation system - seperately in exchange for a low monthly premium.
